My daughter is biracial and has thick, wavy & straight hair with a curl or two mixed in..what a combo huh!?! My hair is naturally straight, I am caucasion and her father who is black, has curly hair. Her hair texture is more like my hair and non-course, I mention the ethnic background because I know many parents with biracial children and for my daughter this product works!! It's definitely a 10+,smells great,you don't have to spray alot, keeps her hair under control for days. I do not wash her hair every day because of the frizz, she can go at least 2-3 days without hair washing. I just redo her hair with this every morning, soft and silky..since we ran out it has been a nightmare..I haven't been able to run to the salon and thank GOD we found it here...Thank you!! It is worth paying the extra for shipping.
