curl hair well, BUT ... October 3, 2011 Reviewer: Donna Peterson from Seattle, WA United States   The curlers heat to the point where they're almost impossible to handle...the ends also get hot and it actually hurts my fingers to handle them and try to roll my hair.  Once they're on, they hold the heat long enough that it hurts my scalp.  Like I said, they curl my hair fine but it's a painful process beginning to end.
